The Farm Bed & Breakfast offers two beautifully decorated rooms with private baths in an 1872 Italianate Victorian on a 118-acre working farm in Ilion, NY, just north of Cooperstown, minutes from I-90 and close to many area attractions.
The Farm is a destination in and of itself. Come see how vegetables grow in the fields, visit our flock of free range chickens and gather eggs. If they want, we welcome visitors to help with chores which can be fun and informative.
Children love it here!
Walk the fields, visit the animals, help with farm chores, sit outside on the patio, watch the sunset, catch a ball or play Frisbee on our large lawn and cross country ski or snowshoe on our 118 acres.
At the end of the day come sit by the fire, play a game, read a book or watch T.V. in our spacious living room or
cozy den which is also good for yoga or exercise.
Bring your laptop and surf the net with our free wireless internet service.
Our breakfasts are prepared from our own pastured eggs, bread, vegetables, fruit and meat (when available). By Michael and Laura who both have extensive cooking and restaurant experience. We serve Equal Exchange coffee. Michael was an owner of Center Street Cafe in Jamaica Plain, MA and Laura cooked at Harvard Bookstore Cafe in Boston and Food for Thought Cafe in Jamaica Plain.
